In this post, I am going to show you how to install PecuScope (Unreleased) on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. Step By Step Guide To Install PecuScope (Unreleased) using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

Pecuscope is an auxiliary tool for the identification of insect bites, developed by students of the National Preparatory School 9 "Pedro de Alba".

The vision of PecuScope is to help a health problem that often goes unnoticed, however, this does not diminish its importance. We talk about bites / bites of insects (or other animals).

In the world, there are thousands of species whose bite / sting can escalate from being simply annoying or irritating, to being very dangerous, and sometimes deadly.

To solve this situation, PecuScope uses a convolutional neuronal network, which identifies the source of the bite by analyzing the image. More information can be found within our website:

Within the application is also a library of insects and animals and information on them.

We integrate a tab with a community within Reddit to share with other users, ask questions about the application or your bite. The project seeks to connect with health professionals, entomologists and more experts in the area, in this way, they can collaborate directly with the work and vision of PecuScope.

Our vision is to reach a large number of species within the bites that it supports. This will be possible as we increase the database with images of bites (knowing their respective species). We plan to add compatibility with bites from reptiles and other animals.
This is a project in development, and the collaboration of the community and institutions willing to participate is necessary to raise and make possible these projections.
