The Intravenous Drug Delivery Guide is intended to be a convenient reference book for physicians, pharmacists and nurses involved in the intravenous administration of critical drugs. The guide includes about sixty of the most used drugs in critical care. Each drug sheet provides information on classification, mechanism of action, action profile, indications, dosages, available IUCPQ presentations, stability and compatibility data and precautions, in addition to infusion tables for several drugs. However, the user must take into consideration that the guide was first created by and for the health professionals of the IUCPQ with the peculiarities of this ultra-specialized environment. The use of the guide must be adapted according to the environment.
