The Directorate of Food KP has officially launched its first Digital Price List for mass awareness of the general public. initially this Daily Price List will display District Peshawar rates only. Once the system is matured, all districts of KP will be added into the system. The primary aim of this app is to ensure that citizens can purchase food commodities such as poultry (chicken, eggs), fruits and vegetables on Government controlled rates. This price list will be easily accessible to all users including general public, shopkeepers and other relevant authorities.

The shopkeepers who have limited access to the hard version of daily price list can follow digital price list for selling of specified food items.

This price list will also assist the authorities responsible for day to day monitoring of food prices in the market.

The department is also planning to introduce complaint management system soon to enable general public for timely complaint on any deviation in the rates. The complaint handling cell in the Directorate of Food Department KP will be responsible for complaints handling.
