And what did this square look like a hundred years ago? Together with ZAMIA, the City and University of Antwerp built a time machine that introduces you in a playful way to the history of Antwerp's Sint-Andries neighborhood and its residents.
Flash back to the 1584, 1796 or 1898 with this digital time machine. Walk through the streets of historic Sint-Andries. Get to know the residents, their profession and how much rent they paid for their home. Use your camera to locate historical images in the street. Do you have old photos of the neighborhood yourself? Then you can charge it yourself and help to further expand the app. Below we list the various options once again:

• Consult resident data of houses from three time layers: 1584, 1796 and 1898
• Learn more about the families who lived there, such as the composition of a family, their age or the rental value of their house
