Crossminton Counter is a free refereeing application for crossminton matches.
Paper scoring sheets used during any crossminton tournament can be replaced with this application. It saves time, it is easy to use and it reduces waste! Tournament organisers do no longer have to print and fill in dozens of paper scoring sheets and it makes the referees’ task easier during a match.
Crossminton Counter offers all the necessary features for match refereeing – current set score for each party, previous set scores, server’s name and remaining services, change-sides indication in the final set, match duration or possibility to list the current set history to find a potential mistake. At the end of the match and after it is confirmed by the parties and the referee, the match is put in history and can be easily found again if needed.
The match details (name of the 2 players or the 2 doubles parties, category, round, match number) can be entered manually in the application. It is also possible to upload a file including the match list defined in a simple format and easy to create. Then the tournament organiser only has to fill in the match number or to select the match in the list and all the details will be automatically filled in. His task is made a lot easier.
The file format is simple (5 columns related to the 5 information separated by semi-colons, CSV format) and can thus be created by any tournament organiser or automatically by a tournament software. For a double match, the 2 players’ name of each party should be separated by “/”.
Find below an example of the details for 2 matches in the match file:
1;Open Messieurs;C;Bertrand Mathieu; Guénolé Coiffard
2;U18;Final;Bertrand (FR - STC); Guénolé (France)
4;Double Men;Last 8;Bertrand Mathieu/Guénolé Coiffard;Bert/Gueno
For your information this feature has been integrated in the LGO’cross tournament software (used in French tournaments) as well as the ICO “Tournament sheet” program, which allows to export match lists in a format comprehensible for the application. As the file format is simple, this match list export feature could easily be integrated in your favourite tournament software. Please contact us if you are interested or meet any trouble to use it.
This application was conceived to be used with 4.4.2 Android versions and above. At the moment, Crossminton Counter is available in French, English, German, Japanese and Portuguese (automatic language selection according to your terminal language).
