Hema Upasani’s Sopranos Music School is a video based platform to learn:

1) Hindustani Classical Vocal

2) Bollywood Songs

3) Hindi/Urdu Gazals

4) Devotional Songs

Customized courses are also available.

Classical music is always stacked as serious, but with this app we will bring the fun element with structured & extensive program.

Duration of each course will be 3 months. Course includes 12-14 video tutorials & 3-5 assignments. After seeing these videos, students will be able to practice them as per their convenience.

To analyze how much a student has understood, assignments are given to the student after some chapters.

In these assignments, students are supposed to record audio and submit them for evaluation.

Along with these video tutorials, there will be 2 online live sessions with the guru. Pdfs with notations will be provided with the course.

In some courses, Bollywood songs/Bhajans based on raag taught in the course are also covered to have a better understanding of the raag. After satisfactory completion of course, students will be issued a certificate from the school. Video tutorials are provided in Hindi language with english subtitles.

About Guru- The Guru for all these courses is Gaanheera Hema Upasani. Hema Upasani was born & brought up in a musical environment. She is the daughter of Pt. Nath Neralkar, who is one of the greatest Hindustani Classical Vocalist. Hema has made a name and created a place for herself in the music world with her versatile performances around the globe. Since last 25 years Hema Upasani has been imparting her knowledge by starting her own musical academy and has trained many students in Hindustani Classical Vocals. She is a rare blend of academic excellence. Her art, devotion, and voice have a rare throb of human emotions.
