Fathul Baari Volume 2 - Explanation of the Book of Sahih Al-Bukhari

Fathul Baari Syarah Shahih Al-Bukhari is the phenomenal work of Imam Ibn Hajar Al-Atsqolani. This book of Fathul Bari is the best and most complete book of the Sahih Bukhori. This book is phenomenal as well as prestigious, illustrating how brilliant the composer is. This book is very useful for Muslims not only because its contents are quite comprehensive but because the authors are skilled in peeling the contents of a hadith.

In this book, Ibn Hajar explains the problem of lughuh / language and irob, and outlines important problems not found in other books, also explains in terms of balaghah and literature, takes the law, and exposes various issues debated by the scholars, both concerning fiqh and ushul fiqh in impartial detail.

Besides that, he also collected all the hadiths and examined them.

Fathul Bari has a muqodimah entitled Haydus Saari, this Muqodimah is very high in value, because it is the key to understanding Sahih Al-Bukhori. This book was finished writing from the year 817 -842 H, almost twenty-five years.

Al-Imam Muhammad ibn Ali As Sanani Asy-Syaukani (w 1255 H) author of the Book Nailul Authar, once wrote a book to give a message to Sahih Bukhori, and he greatly admired Imam Ibn Hajar, then he also quoted a hadith: La Hijrah badal fathi (No Hijrah after the conquest of Mecca), he used this hadith as an expression that there is no book of Saheeh Bukhori that exceeds Fathul Baari.
