About Student Book
Class III Integrated Thematic Learning

1. Student Book is a guidebook as well as an activity book that will make it easier for students to be actively involved in learning.

2. Student books are designed full of pictures and colors to stimulate students' imagination and interest in learning.

3. The Student Book is equipped with a more detailed explanation of the content and usage as outlined in the Teacher's Guide.

4. Learning activities in the Student Book are more examples of activities that teachers can choose in implementing learning. Teachers are expected to be able to develop further creative ideas by utilizing alternative activities offered in the Teacher's Manual, or developing their own learning ideas.

5. Class III books consist of eight (8) themes. Each theme consists of four (4) sub-themes. Each sub-theme is broken down into six lessons. One study is allocated for one day. A more detailed explanation of learning activities is written in the Teacher Book.

6. Efforts are made to ensure that the structure of writing books is as much as possible to facilitate a meaningful learning experience which is translated through subtitles based on a scientific approach as follows:
- Observe: Come observe, Come read
- Trying: Let's try, Let's practice, Let's be creative, Come on sing, Come on dance, Let's role-play.
- Reasoning: Let's discuss
- Communicating: Let's tell stories, let's write

7. This book is self-contained so that students can use it independently at home.

8. Student books are activity based, making it possible for students and teachers to complement and enrich material from various sources.

9. At the end of each lesson, there is a column for parents with the subheading Activities with Parents. This column contains learning activities that students can do with their parents at home. Parents are expected to be actively involved in the student's learning process according to their experiences.

10. At the end of each sub-theme there is a self-reflection sheet with the icon “Now I Can”. This sheet is a self-assessment that aims to help students and teachers know what has been achieved and what needs to be improved.
