About Student Books
Integrated Thematic Learning Class III

1. Student Book is a guidebook as well as an activity book that will facilitate students to be actively involved in learning.

2. Student books are designed to be full of images and colors to stimulate students' imagination and interest in learning.

3. Student books are equipped with more detailed explanations of the contents and usage as outlined in the Teacher's Handbook.

4. The learning activities in the Student Book are more examples of activities that the teacher can choose in carrying out learning. Teachers are expected to be able to develop creative ideas further by utilizing alternative activities offered in the Teacher's Guide, or developing their own learning ideas.

5. Class III books consist of eight (8) themes. Each theme consists of four (4) sub-themes. Each sub-theme is broken down into six lessons. One lesson is allocated for one day. A more detailed explanation of learning activities is outlined in the Teacher's Book.

6. The structure of writing a book as much as possible endeavored to facilitate a meaningful learning experience that is translated through subtitles based on the scientific approach as follows:
   - Observing: Come on observe, Come on read
   - Trying: Let's try, Let's practice, Let's be creative, Let's sing, Let's dance, Let's play the role.
   - Reason: Let's discuss
   - Communicate: Come on tell stories, Come write

7. This book is self-contained so that it can be used by students independently at home.

8. Activity based books, making it possible for students and teachers to complete and enrich material from various sources.

9. At the end of each lesson, there is a column for parents with the subtitle Activities Parents Together. This column contains learning activities that students and parents can do at home. Parents are expected to be actively involved in the learning process of students according to the experience they have.

10. At the end of each subtema there is a self reflection sheet with the "Now I Can" icon. This sheet is a self-assessment that aims to help students and teachers know what has been achieved and what needs to be improved.
