Biopedia application is an android-based data collection that contains information about edible plants. This application allows users to access information about edible plants. In addition, the benefits of the Biopedia application for the community are easier for people to find plant species that can be consumed, accompanied by processing ways of consumption and nutritional contents that exist in these plants and other matters related to edible plants in accordance with the features that are available. In order to use the Biopedia application, users can directly download the application and to enter the discussion forum the user must first sign up by entering their email address and password.


The Biopedia application has 17 features namely Slide Home Animatic, List of Plants,, Registration, Description, Classification, Reference, Videos, Slide Share, Menu to Open Journal, Menu to Open Wikipedia, Discussion Forum, Login, Menu Search, Menu Reset, Menu Compound Bioactives, Phytonutrients Menu, and Cultivation Menu. The target of this application for the short term is for mountain climbers and the government community who through this application can provide socialization to residents related to the edible plant or others. While for the long term, it is for researchers, academics, students, students and the Biodiversity Community.
