Radio La Mosquitera on Windows Pc

We present below the sustained work of the La Mosquitera Communication and Cultural Association. Located in El Bermejo Guaymallén - Mendoza, since its inception in 2001, this organization works daily to achieve a greater democratization of communication, understood as an essential human right.

Thus, in 2001 “La Mosquitera, Barrial Magazine with pretensions” was born, with the aim of establishing itself as a means of communication for and for the inhabitants of this town, then extended to the towns of El Sauce, Colonia Segovia and, finally, El Algarrobal. With this objective, we sought to interconnect these new processes with the traditional characteristics of each place, ways of life, trades, personalities and characters. From the same, an attempt was made to analyze local problems and proposals, together with the most outstanding aspects of the provincial, national and international reality.

With 17 years in the streets of Mendoza, 2000 printed copies of free distribution and with more than 100 published editions, La Mosquitera Barrial Magazine has established itself as a unique Magazine in our Province. Among other recognitions we highlight having been declared of Provincial Legislative interest and Interest of the Council of Guaymallén.

In 2007 La Mosquitera FM 88.1 Community Radio was born, with more than 10 uninterrupted years on the air, it has been an active actor in the fight for Democratic and Popular Communication. La Mosquitera is a member of the National Table of the Argentine Forum of Community Radio Broadcasters (FARCO), the Community Media Collective of Cuyo (COMECUCO) and the Coalition for Democratic Communication.

The Community Radio Mosquito Net has established itself as a space referenced by different organizations from the popular camp and public organizations in the province. Strongly building identity from the local, day by day in its programming the struggles and feelings of our community are reflected.

At the end of 2013, the “Audiovisual Production Company La Mosquitera” was consolidated, which since then has been preparing audiovisual material and has been the winner of FOMECA competitions to carry out microprograms and audiovisual spots for social awareness.

RECOVERED BUSINESS ASSOCIATION

Together with the Association of Recovered Companies of Mendoza, we signed a technical cooperation agreement, sealing a joint work where La Mosquitera works, among other aspects, the dissemination, communication and publicity of the different activities that concern the different Cooperatives that make up La Recovered Companies Association. In this sense, we have also developed agreements with the Independent Movement of Mendocino Musicians (MIMM) and the National University of Cuyo, in particular with the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, with the Social Communication degree for the development of professional practices by students of the races.


Among the new spaces that are added to the task, the website www.lamosquitera.org appears with the aim of making visible and disseminating the journalistic production of the different groups and of the La Mosquitera Association. A news portal in which online radio converges, short-term radio productions converted into graphic notes with their audios, the analysis of journalistic notes from the magazine, the productions of the audiovisual production company, and content specific to the web. We have continued growth in visits since August 2016, when the website was launched, reaching more than 9500 visits monthly since August 2017.
