Create your personal qr code with your contact information to get quick entry to an event or a restaurant.

Main application:
WithThe companion app Ciao SCAN which is used by the event organizer can read your qr code with the camera. This way no time consuming manual registration of your contact information is needed and when visiting a restaurant, a bar or a concert.

Example:
An event organizer reads the customer information by scanning the qr code with the camera. The data is then stored in the customer list together with a timestamp. This way the event organizer can obey the rules and easily keep track of all their customers without causing long waiting times. The organizer the can in case of a reported case inform all customers that were there at the same time.

Privacy:
Ciao QR and Ciao SCAN don't require an (internet-)connection after downloading nor does the app require bluetooth. No data is transferred to any server meaning there is no way the developers are able to access any data. There's not even a tracking method to check how the app is used which means that we rely on your feedback! The qr code generated by the companion app Ciao QR is only stored on the device itself. The customer list created by Ciao SCAN is exclusively stored on the organizer's device. This data can then be exported as a table and combined with e.g. older data or data from other devices. This might be required if multiple scanning devices are used or the organizer regularly backs up the data.

For technical users:
The app generates a JSON object from the entered data and encodes it directly in the qr code, this is verifiable with any qr code scanner. The scanner app reads the code and stores the data in addition to a timestamp. The export function generates a csv locally on the device.
