As the words of former Aceh governor Mr. Mustafa Abu Bakar when giving a speech at the commemoration of the great Prophet Muhammad SAW at Wisma Foba: "With religion our lives will be more directed, with science and technology our lives will be easier and with customs and culture our lives will more beautiful."

The friends learn religion directly to the Prophet Muhammad, every time there is a problem in religion, they can ask directly to the Prophet, so that there are friends who become a reference for other friends, such as Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, Umar bin Khathab, Usman bin Affan, Ali bin Abi Talib. Ibn Mas'ud, Muaz bin Jabal, Ibn Abbas, Ibn Umar, and others.

After the Prophet Muhammad died, many friends who migrated to all over the country to preach the religion of God, such as Ibn Abbas in Mecca, Ibn Umar in Medina, Ibn Mas'ud in Kufa, Muaz bin Jabal in Yemen.

When faced with a case that is not contained in the Koran and the Sunnah, then they resort to jihad, and their ijtihad is made a reference by their muribs.

Their ijtihad is what is called the School, so we hear there is the term of the school of Ibn Umar in Medina, the School of Ibn Abbas in Mecca and the School of Ibn Mas'ud in Kufa.

Then the murib of the Companions or called Tabi'in, they taught their teacher's School to another teacher called Tabi'ut Tabi'in, so on, so that their School came to us.

In this booklet, the author wants to describe how the Shafi'i school has evolved from generation to generation, who are the characters involved in it, and what factors influence it.
