Dr. Ignatius Pinto. The Parish was started with 106 families under the charismatic leadership of Late Rev. Fr. Mathew Thoyalil VC, the founder Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Church and the then Superior of the Vincentian Ashram Bangalore.
In the Year 2004, Rev. Fr. Mathew Thoyalil VC became very sick and shifted to Kerala fo treatment. On 6th May 2005, Fr. Pius Kodakkathanath VC, the then superior of the Vincentian Ashram, was appointed as the Parish Priest of the St. Joseph Parish by Most Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras.
