Studying Islamic Character Based Education and forming noble creeds and among its contents are:

Islam is essentially the rules or laws of Allah SWT contained in the book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet which includes the commands and prohibitions, as well as instructions to be a guide to life and the life of mankind for his happiness in this world and the hereafter. As for the broad outline of the scope of Islamic teachings include three main points, namely:

1. A D I D A H

The Islamic belief system or creed is built on six basic beliefs commonly called the Pillars of Faith. The pillars of faith include faith in God, angels, books, apostles, final emotion and qodha and qadar. as the word of God in sura An-Nisa verse 136.

"O you who believe, remain faithful to Allah and His Messenger and to the book revealed to His Messenger and the book that was revealed before. Whoso is incarcerated to Allah, His angels, His books, His apostles - His apostles, and days later, then verily the person has gone astray as far away ".

Based on the six foundations, the attachment of every Muslim to Islam that should exist in the Muslim soul is:

a. Convinced that Islam is the last religion, containing the Shari'a which perfects the Shari'a revealed by Allah beforehand. As Allah said: "Muhammad is not a father (to) one of the men among you, but he is a messenger of God and the closing of the prophets "

b. Convinced that Islam is the only true religion in the sight of Allah because Islam is a religion that was followed by the Prophets from the Prophet Adam to the Prophet Muhammad. Islam comes with bringing absolute truth to guide life and human life in harmony with its nature. Allah says in Surah Ali-Imran verse 19:

"Truly religion by Allah is only Islam"

c. Believing that Islam is a universal religion and applies to all humans, and is able to answer all problems that arise in all walks of life and in accordance with the demands of human culture throughout the ages. As Allah says in Surah As-Saba, verse 28: "And we have not sent you (Muhammad) but to all men as glad tidings and warnings. But most people do not know."

2. S Y A R I A H

The second component of Islam is Sharia which contains rules and regulations governing activities that should be done and which should not be done by humans. Shari'a is a system of Islamic values ​​established by God himself. In this connection God is referred to as Shariah 'or creator of the law.

The Islamic value system in general covers two fields:

a. Sharia which regulates human relations vertically with God, such as prayer, fasting, and pilgrimage, as well as those who have dimensions of relations with humans, such as zakat. The human relationship in the form of ordinary worship with God is called mahdhah worship or special worship, because of its unique nature and its procedures have been determined with certainty by God and exemplified in detail by the Prophet.

b. Sharia which regulates human relations horizontally, with fellow humans and other creatures is called muamalah. Muamalah includes the provisions or regulations of all activities of human life in association with each other and with the natural surroundings.
