If you hear the name of Muhammad, who comes to mind? Yes, of course our prophet, the last prophet, Muhammad bin Abdillah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. If you hear the name Gabriel, who comes to mind? Yes, of course the noble angel, Gabriel ‘alaihissalaam. Two beautiful and glorious names, these two names are joined together in the name of one of the most glorious readers of the shaykh (al-Qur'an), namely Shaykh Muhammad Jibril.

Shaykh Muhammad Jibril was a reciter who used the history of Hafsh 'an Aashim in reading the Qur'an. Murottal type reading, in the sense that reading tartil is not too fast and not too slow in reading it. His Murottal is in the form of a complete MP3 of 30 juz (full 114 letters) thank God, it is not too difficult to find and can be easily followed.

Why easy? Because his reading is quite slow, clear and not too high in pitch, so that it can be followed by the majority of our society (who are not trained to use high notes in daily conversation).
