Islamic Economics is a branch of science that seeks to view, analyze, and finally resolve economic problems in Islamic ways, that is based on the teachings of Islam, namely the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet.

Sharia economics has two main things that become the legal basis of the sharia economic system, namely the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, the laws taken from the two basic foundations in concept and principle are fixed (cannot be changed at any time and anywhere).

The implementation of Islamic economics has experienced extraordinary dynamics and the community is very enthusiastic in responding to the presence of institutions based on Islamic economics. This is indicated by the emergence of institutions labeled Sharia in the midst of society such as banking, finance, insurance, capital markets, pawnshops, mutual funds, and others.

Economics should be developed by integrating positivism and normativism; a balance between rational and value or moral. Islam has its own system of regulating the economy which is based on the Qur'an and Sunnah which is known as the Islamic economic system or Islamic economic system.
 
The Islamic economic system is in principle based on faith (divinity), ethics (akhlakul karimah), and humanity. Islamic economics is a systematic effort to study economic problems and human behavior and their interactions. Islamic economics includes theoretical understanding (theoretical understanding), engineering the necessary institutions and policies related to the production, distribution, and consumption processes that can help meet human needs optimally and ideally.
