Active Jewish Teens is a network of teenage Jewish clubs in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, which was created in August 2014 with the support of JDC and exists today in more than 60 cities of the CIS. The principles of the AJT are: Jewish education, volunteering, teenage self-government and the unification of the Jewish community.
The main criteria for participation in AJT is: age 13-17 years. In the cities of AJT, of which we have today more than 60. Each teenager can come to the programs of the teenage club, create his own unique project or get his own role in the development of the club.

AJT has a number of areas that contribute to the development of a sense of belonging to the Jewish people, knowledge and skills for self-realization in the Jewish community.
AJT workshops. 2 seminars per year, which provide an opportunity for a teenager to implement a unique project in the community, get acquainted with the participants of the region, gain basic knowledge in the field of Jewish studies and personal growth.
AJTeam is an international madrich school for AJT graduates from 7 countries.
AJTravel - trips to other cities of the CIS, where there is an AJT youth club to exchange experiences and implement joint projects.
AJTGoverment is a direction that gives Jewish teenagers rights and opportunities for joint implementation of ideas for the benefit of the Jewish community at three levels: local, regional and global. Self-government is carried out by a parliament of two AJT Presidents and Congressmen in each region.
AJTorah is an educational direction where every teenager has the opportunity to head the educational unit in his club and begin to study the history and tradition of the Jewish people.
FreeDom - this area is built on a peer-to-peer system for the interaction of AJT adolescents with adolescents with special needs.
Eco Festivals. Today, festivals are held in all parts of the CIS, 5 days in nature with accommodation in tents, food at a campfire of their own preparation, studying the traditions with the best teachers of the CIS.
BBYO programs. BBYO has been our partner and “big brother” from the very beginning of AJT. Therefore, 2 times a year, to become a single global community, BBYO provides the opportunity to participate in international programs around the world.
Every quarter, AJT Network hosts general events for all clubs that are initiated and run by teens. The club’s participation in the event, which is simultaneously held in more than 60 cities, allows children to feel like part of a large Jewish community.
In addition, every year the most active participants have the opportunity to meet at the largest event for Jewish teenagers in the CIS - the International Conference of the Active Jewish Teens Teen Network!
J-Serve Day - volunteering day. Each club initiates and organizes an action in its city.
Night Shavuot. Cities and regions come together to spend the night of the Shavuot festival, studying Jewish texts and relevant topics for teens.
AJT Day is the day when clubs open their doors to anyone who wants to get acquainted with the projects and activities of the clubs.
AJT Sports Day. Once a year, teenage clubs gather all their sports power to fight in team and personal sports. Each year is more than 8 sports in which you can test your strength.
Jewish Knowledge Day. In partnership with the global organization Global Jewish Day of Knowlege, adolescents conduct their educational classes and master classes as part of the theme of the year.
Global Shabbat is a special Shabbat that is held on the same day by all the teenage clubs BBYO and AJT. Usually this Shabbat has a certain theme and enables the worldwide teenage community to feel their unity.
Global Shabbat Guest is a special Shabbat when the Volunteer Community and AJT team up to visit older people in the community and meet Shabbat with them.
All this is only the beginning of the unity of Jewish youth, the future elite of all Jewish organizations in the CIS countries.
