The Yusuf surah is a Meccan surah unanimously unearthed before the emigration of the Messenger from Mecca, its twelfth arrangement between the Qur’an of one hundred and fourteen Surahs, and the number of its verses a hundred and eleven verses, and in the arrangement of the Holy Qur’an it is located after Surat Hud and before Surat Al-Raad.
