Special Permissions
The app requires the following permissions to function properly:
SMS Permissions (READ_SMS, WRITE_SMS): Required to read messages from the sender device and restore them on the receiver device.
Default SMS App Permission: Android requires the app to be temporarily set as the default SMS app in order to restore or write messages on the receiving device. This change is only required during the transfer process, and you can switch back to your preferred messaging app afterward.
Camera Permission: Used to scan QR codes for connecting devices.
Location / Network Access: Helps detect nearby devices when connecting.
All permissions are used strictly to enable message transfer and follow Google Play policies.
