About Islam app includes extensive detail and knowledge about prophetic medicine, Sunnah, Sunnah deeds, seerah, aqaid fiqah (principles), Quran and Quranic teachings, Islam and Islamic societies and detailed knowledge about what Islam stands for.

Prophetic medicine is the advice given by Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) with regards to sickness, treatment and hygiene as found evidently in the hadith. The literature of prophetic medicine occupies a symbolic role in the elucidation of Islamic identity as constituted by a particular set of relationships to science, medicine, technology and nature.

Sunnah, also Sunna or Sunnat, is the body of literature which discusses and prescribes the traditional customs and practices of the Islamic community, both social and legal, often but not necessarily based on the verbally transmitted record of the teachings, deeds and sayings, silent permissions (or disapprovals) of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), as well as various reports about Prophet Muhammad's companions. Sunnah deeds are those that earn a reward in the afterlife for those who do them, but will not bring any punishment for those who neglect them.

The Quran, also Qur’an or Koran, is the central religious text of Islam, a revelation from God (Allah) and revealed to our Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) for the guidance of humanity till the day of judgement. Quran was orally revealed by God to the final prophet, Muhammad, through the archangel Gabriel (Jibril), incrementally over a period of some 23 years. Someone who has memorized the entire Quran is called a hafiz. Quranic verse (ayah) is sometimes recited with a special kind of elocution reserved for this purpose, called Tajwid. During the month of Ramadan, Muslims typically complete the recitation of the whole Quran during tarawih prayers. In order to extrapolate the meaning of a particular Quranic verse, most Muslims rely on exegesis, or tafsir.

Islam have laid out certain virtues for the muslim ummah upon which they are guided to develop social norms and society as a whole should follow and implement those virtues in their daily lives in order to be successful in this life and the life hereafter. Some of those virtues are: Charity and philanthropy, Forgiveness, Tolerance, Honesty, Kindness and leniency, Kind treatment to animals, Justice, Fulfillment of promise, Modesty and humility, Decent speech, Trustworthiness, Patience, Truthfulness, Anger management, Sincerity, Respecting the elders.

Hadiths:

Islam has two essential sources. First is the Qurʾān which is the immediate expression of Allah S.W.T revealed to the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him. The subsequent source is the Prophet's lessons. These lessons incorporate his words, activities, and things he affirmed of. The Prophet's lessons are called Sunna. The Sunna is found in writings called ḥadīth. A ḥadīth is an announcement of the Prophet P.B.U.H which was described by his companions and therefore described to the generations afterwards until these maxims were arranged in ḥadīth assortments. Some of the most trusted and authentic books of Hadiths include Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. For hundreds of years, people around the world have been trying to write books about the ideal way of life and to seek more and more knowledge, principles and guidance whereby these hadiths have proven to be a perfect source of inspiration.
Continuing this journey of seeking knowledge, we present the 'About Islam' application, which makes it incredibly simple and intelligently designed to carry out research and seek guidance from Hadith in the easiest way possible.
