The game is set in the not-too-far future, in 2050, when AI (Artificial Intelligence) overtakes more-and-more jobs, starting with mundane, toward the more-and-more sophisticated.

According to current estimates (e.g. published among others by The Guardian), 6% of US jobs will be eliminated by robots by 2021 .... now the situation is even more escalated in 2050 ...

The protagonist of the game, in order to find out what he / she should do, his / her calling, what job he / she should look for, what career he / she should pursue, and whether / how much he / she is " futurable ", enters an advanced VR simulation, and travels to Summer City to travel his / her own future.

Futurable 1 - Summer City provides an unprecedented AI life-simulation on smartphones and tablets, where every character is a fully autonomous AI. Every character desires to survive and prosper based on its inborn physical and mental capabilities. In practice, every character (Non-Player Character) as well as a human player desires to enhance their own health, wealth, and cognitive- and social intelligence.
