This is the application of al-hikam ibnu athaillah's translation complete with Arabic, Indonesian and Syarah (explanation) in detail. Kitab al Hikam written by the name of Sheikh Ibn Athaillah is no longer strange among Indonesian Muslims. The owner of the full name Ahmad ibn Muhammad Ibn Atha'illah As-Sakandari is famous for his monumental work titled al-Hikam.

The figure born in Alexandria, Egypt, 648 H / 1250 AD is a prominent Sufi figure from the Syadziliyah Order. He was a direct student of Abu al-Hasan as-Syadzili, who was none other than the founder of the tarekat who lived during the Mamluk Dynasty.

Ibn 'Athaillah contributed greatly to the development of Sufism in the Islamic world. He was asked as the third sheikh of internal orders in the Syadziliyah Order. And Ibn Atha'illah was the first to gather teachings, messages, prayers and biographies both so that the treasury of the Syadziliyah Congregation was maintained. Editors try to trace the footsteps of this Maliki school of thought summarized in the following points:

Al-Hikam

The book consisting of 264 messages of virtue delivered by Ibn Athaillah is touted as the magnum opus. The pattern of writing is simple, i.e. it consists only of sentences with short editions which are very short. This is the reason why this book invites the interest and attention of scholars to outline the intentions and thoughts of the character.

Several books appear that describe the al-Hikam editorial sharia, including Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Ibad ar-Rasyid-Rundi, Ahmad Zarruq, and Ahmad ibnu Ajiba.
