At the age of 8, she joined the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, a children's choir2.
His first single, Ocean Eyes, released in March 2016, met with great success, recording nearly 87 million listenings during the month of July 2018. His first EP, Don't Smile at Me, was released in August 2017. Two months later, following the success of the EP, Apple made Billie Eilish its new artist Apple Music Up next3. On March 29, 2019 released his first album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (translatable by “When we all fall asleep, where do we go?”) whose Finneas O'Connell, his brother, produced the fourteen titles with his help. This album was rated No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 and has the third highest number of streaming releases for a female artist's album, with 313,000 album equivalent units (including 170,000 album sales " physique, the second biggest week of sales for an album in 2019).
