To facilitate navigation, the themes have been divided into 5 categories:

✔ Mesoamerican Cultures : where issues concerning the different pre-Hispanic cultures that have inhabited the Mesoamerican area will be addressed, among which the Chichimecas, the Totonacas and the Mixtecas, in addition of the Toltecs, the Olmecs, the Zapotecs and the Maya, among others.

✔ Spanish domain : issues related to the conquest of Mexico by the Spanish, and concerning the colonial era , such as the Cholula massacre, the aqueduct of the Father Tembleque, the Sad Night, the slaughter of the Templo Mayor, the castes in New Spain and evangelization at that time.

✔ Period of independence : covers all movements carried out between 1810 and 1821, to achieve the independence of Mexico from Spanish rule, including: the battle of the Monte de las Cruces, the capture of the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, the conspiracy of Querétaro, the scream of Dolores, the plan of the Prophet.

✔ From independence to current Mexico : once independence was completed, Mexico lived turbulent years, all those episodes are exposed until they reach more recent events that have marked the Mexican history . Among these we can mention: the battle of Tampico, the punitive expedition, the rebellion of Manuel Lozada, the Seven Constitutional Laws, the Porfirian peace, the independence of Yucatán, the tragic decade, the treaties of Bucareli, the taking of Ciudad Juárez, the Porfiriato, the Empire of Maximiliano, the war of the cakes, the separation of Texas, among others.

✔ Characters from the history of Mexico : Mexican history shows characters, both national and foreign, who had a great influence in the country. From politicians and explorers to artists, names like Benito Juárez, Hernán Cortés, Porfirio Díaz, Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Antonio López de Santa Anna, Álvaro Obregón, José María Morelos y Pavón or Francisco Madero.
