Natural Rondonópolis, Thiago Silva, is married to Eliane Moreira and father of Gabriel and Julia. He has a degree in economics, a graduate degree in Public Administration and Management of Cities, MBA in Strategic Business Management, MBA in Industrial Engineering and an MBA in Marketing.

As economist served in AMAGGI group in multinational ADM as University Professor at UNIC, was Manager of Planning, Control and Development Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Municipality of Rondonópolis.

In 2009, following an invitation from residents of his neighborhood and worried about bringing improvements to your region Thiago Silva was elected President of the Association of Residents of the neighborhoods Jardim Eldorado, Mirassol, Santa Fe and Copacabana. In 2010, Thiago Silva
along with students, teachers and community leaders created the Movement UNEMAT NOW, which aimed to campus installation University in Rondonópolis.

In 2012 he was elected the twelfth most voted councilor of the municipality to the municipality of Rondonópolis. Won at the ballot box 1,624 votes, and of this total over half were voters in the regions of São José Vila and Workers' Assembly.

During his first term Councilman Thiago Silva, he stood out as the most productive parliamentary Mayor of Rondonópolis and the implementation of the Itinerant Cabinet neighborhoods. Through their struggle for education he managed the implementation of Unemat in Rondonópolis.

In 2016 Thiago Silva was re-elected with the highest vote in Rondonopolis, 3,264 votes, the result of a focused work in a participatory and transparent mandate.

By having this young and innovative profile, knowledgeable and scholar of Rondonópolis problems, Thiago Silva will continue to fight at City Hall by the educational cause as a tool to reduce social inequalities. He believes that the best way to improve people's lives and income distribution is through education, because it opens doors.
