The ASYC IV DMM application boosts the measurement possibilities of your multimeter and allows you to connect to your version "A" 100,000-count ASYC IV multimeter or to the version "B" model via Bluetooth.
This only concerns instruments equipped with the Bluetooth function, a range comprising 6 instruments:
- MTX3292B-BT and MTX3292-BT
- MTX3293B-BT and MTX3293-BT
- CA 5292-BT (P01196812)
- CA 5293-BT (P01196813)
. The main menu offers 4 possibilities:

1-- Connection to the instrument: to connect to an instrument.
2 - Real-time measurements: takes you to the screen for displaying the real-time measurements in text format and the graph display.
3 - Instrument setup: to display the specifications of the product connected.
4- Display snapshots: opens a screen for displaying screenshots (snapshots of real-time measurement text-format screens or graphical representations) made using the Android device.

In total safety, you can recover the main measurements from the multimeter in real time, display a graph and make a screenshot to save your data and extend your analysis.
Bluetooth communication is used to authorize data recovery from the MTX329*BT and/or CA 529*BT instrument selected.

Real-time measurements:
The application allows you to display the remote measurement and plot the measurements in graph form in real time.
A reminder of the Bluetooth communication setup procedure on the multimeter is displayed every time there is a connection.

Setup:
The Setup function proposes synchronization of the instrument date and time with the settings on the Android device
As the application only allows you to view the main measurement, a single trace is provided, whatever the device's position.
The vertical scale is automatic and adapts to the values read; the curve is spread as widely as possible vertically on the screen.
The application queries the instrument at the acquisition interval entered in the Setup menu; the horizontal scale shows the time elapsed and is set by the refresh frequency entered in the Setup menu.
The trace is displayed over the whole width of the screen and the horizontal scale is compressed as the number of points increases.

Screenshot using the "camera" button
It is possible to display screenshots of the real-time measurement display screens (texts and graphs). The screenshot captures the whole screen.
Two screenshot modes are available:
- short press on the button: simple screenshot.
- long press: display of a screen for entering a comment.
There are four different ways of viewing these screenshots:
- By accessing the "Photo Gallery" application on the on the Android device
