Cardinal Scout is an FRC scouting app designed by Team 811 for the 2019 game Destination Deep Space. Users can easily scout for multiple different events and compile this data to decide which teams to choose for their alliance.

Instead of WiFi or Bluetooth, Cardinal Scout uses QR codes to transfer data between devices at the end of an event. This can help with connectivity issues often found when using WiFi/Bluetooth (although a camera with decent quality is recommended).

Cardinal Scout can be used on up to 6 devices at once (one for each alliance position), but with some organization, can even be used standalone on one device.

After gathering data for an event, Cardinal Scout displays both general stats to compare teams and also detailed data for individual teams, including their record, recommendation, and their ability with hatches, cargo, and sandstorm based off of percentages generated from match data.
