Jane Austen was an accomplished English novelist. She was known primarily for her 6 major novels, among them the highly adapted Pride and Prejudice, and, Sense and Sensibility. Her style of writing were at times, charming, funny, well-rounded, and other times, psychologically complex.


It is a narrative of what the author, his sisters Carolina Austen and Anna Lefroy and other relatives remember, as well as some of Jane Austen’s letters, alongside many of the memories/family stories provided to him for the purpose of writing said Memoir.
