In this post, I am going to show you how to install CareAware Patient Flow on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install CareAware Patient Flow using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "CareAware Patient Flow" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

Capacity Management: EVS (Environmental Services) and Transport solution supports fast, easy and smart workflows for the EVS and Transport processes in CareAware Patient Flow. This solution provides the EVS or Transport worker the ability to manage their job queue, which results in a more efficient Transport process and optimizes Bed turnover.

* Automated job assignments are pushed to a Team member based on their zone assignments.
* Efficient Management of job assignments, including the ability to: Accept, Reject, Delay, Start, and Complete job assignments.
* Efficient Management of a Team Member's status: On Break, On Lunch, Unavailable, and Available.
* Notifications Management, including the ability to have the device chime/vibrate when a modification is made to an assigned job, a new job is assigned, or an existing job is unassigned. Notification type is dependent on device capability.
* The CareAware Patient Flow mobile design has been enhanced to enable the ability to view job details in context of the List page when the job is selected.
* Notification reminders will occur every 5 minutes, up to an 2 hours, until the mobile app is unlocked.
* The 5 minute notification reminder will be reset to 0 with each job change.
* If a job is Assigned and Accepted to a Personnel and then that Personnel updates their Availability Status to 'Unavailable', 'Break, or 'Lunch', the system will Undo Start the job and Unaccept the job.
* If a job is Assigned and Accepted by multiple Personnel and then one or many Personnel update their Availability Status to 'Unavailable', 'Break, or 'Lunch', the system will unassign the job from those Personnel that changed their Availability Status, but the job will stay Started and will remain Accepted for the Personnel that did not change their Availability status from 'Available'.
* The ability to Cancel a job from the mobile application now exists. This capability is permission based.
