To improve the quality of education in Indonesia the Government continues to strive, one of which is through the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP), a financial assistance program in the form of the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP).

The distribution of education cash assistance to students from poor families is channeled through the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP). This program is intended for vulnerable poor families who have a Sejahterea Family Card, and participants of the Family Hope Program (PKH).

This collaborative program between the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Religion also prioritizes children who are orphans, people with disabilities, and disaster / disaster victims.
