May you all are happily gathering with your family member no matter how far they are. Whether they are able to gather with you in this festive season.
After a month-long fasting, the Muslim community in Malaysia and all over the world celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri Hari Raya. During the fasting month, it is the time they learn to maintain their self-resistance in satisfying their basic needs and urges between sunrise till sunset. It is important for them to abstain from drinking and eating during those periods and at the same time keep their minds pure during this holy month.
The real excitement starts from the first day of Ramadan, they woke up early in the morning before the sunrise, gathering together and having “sahur” with the rest of the family. Going thru the whole day without any food and drink, as the twilight approaching it is time to breaking fast. Many types of food are readily available during this time, most that you will only be found during this fasting season.
In preparation for celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri, new clothes, delicacies, and goodies is a must. Decorating the house with new fittings and furniture is the norm during this season. Oils lamp to be installed around the house really bring the old memories when celebration it during younger age.
This is what I want to share with you all in this design in the greeting cards, that will surely bring old memories as fresh as it just happens yesterday. Looking at the colorful lights decorating around the veranda and also the light from the oil’s lamps around the house area.
