Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib, the father of a life-long struggling nation, emerged as the undisputed leader of the Bengali nation, starting from the language movement to the education movement, the historic six-point movement, the anti-military movement, and above all in the 1970 elections. The speech he delivered in a thunderous voice on March 7 at the historic Racecourse Ground in Dhaka has become an everlasting milestone in the history of the freedom struggle. Bangabandhu declared, "This time the struggle is for our liberation, this time the struggle is for freedom."

When the military operation began, Mujibur Rahman declared the independence of Bangladesh in the early hours of March 26, 1971. The declaration of independence was broadcast wirelessly from house No. 32 in Dhanmondi. Sheikh Mujib wrote his autobiography in two volumes.
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman wrote his biography till 1954 AD. The unfinished autobiography was translated into several other languages, including English. The book is a diary of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's imprisonment in 197 AD. Sheikh Rehana, the youngest daughter of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, named the prison diary. I have seen a book on the experience of Sheikh Mujib's visit to China on the occasion of the Asia-Pacific Peace Conference held in Beijing, China in October 1952.
