ClearPathGPS is a web-based live fleet management solution designed for small and mid-sized fleets. An ideal solution for a range of industries including construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical landscaping, local delivery, restoration and remediation, pest control, and more.

ClearPath GPS updates vehicle positions every 30 seconds and maps vehicle locations with color-coded markers to easily see current vehicle status, including whether a driver is speeding, idling, hard braking, or stopped. Geofences can be set up around properties as circles, polygons, or rectangles and these automatically record vehicle and/or asset arrivals and departures. Users can choose to be notified by text and/or email of important events, including unauthorized vehicle use after hours. Employee time cards and client bills can be audited and verified using the data recorded within the system.

Clear Path GPS generates virtual timecards from vehicle and/or equipment GPS data, enabling users to track the trips and stops made by drivers throughout the day. The start time, stop locations, time stopped at each location, distance and time between stops, and total mileage, driving time, and stop time for a given period are all recorded, and can be exported to accounting and billing software. ClearPathGPS also produces vehicle behavior scorecards which track cornering, acceleration, braking, and speeding for each driver, and can be used to identify aggressive drivers, as well as wastage of fuel, and wear and tear that would be avoidable under improved driving.

Unlike many of the other dashcam solutions for fleets on the market, ClearPath’s dash camera solution from Owlcam also detects impact or broken glass events when a vehicle is off. Because there’s no SD card, there’s no way to tamper with the footage. Video captured is seamlessly linked to GPS tracking data and provides two forms of evidence in the event of a claim. 20 second video clips can be requested from within the portal and stored in the media manager for 30 days or downloaded locally for sharing/storing. Event snapshots can be sent by the driver to the portal by saying, “OK, Presto” and can be remotely viewed immediately by the fleet manager. 4G LTE connectivity means cloud upload of critical clips and remote viewing is possible even when the vehicle is off.
