In this post, I am going to show you how to install Krishi Kisan on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. Step By Step Guide To Install Krishi Kisan using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

In order to make better accessibility of plots selected for above activities and also for proper monitoring, it is compulsory to have geo-tagging of these plots throughout the country. In this direction, this department has developed a mobile App (available on NFSM website) that can be used to locate the concerned demonstration plots and farmers field location. This will help in preparing annual action plan, budget allocation and proper monitoring of the scheme. It is a step towards Digital Agriculture.

Mobile app developed to help farmers by providing relevant information to them quickly. With click of a button, they can get the information on demonstration in nearest area and Seed Minikit distribution in their area.
Crops Division of DAC&FW has been undertaking the following activities through various Crops Development Programmes-

a) Cluster demonstrations on pulses by KVKs, ICAR
b) Cluster demonstrations by state governments;
c) Front Line Demonstrations (FLDs) conducted by ICAR Institutions on rice, wheat, pulses, coarse-cereals and nutri-cereals.
d) Minikit-demonstrations on farmers field and;
e) Seed production by seed hub centres of pulses and nutri-cereals.
