In this book I have tried to collect hymns all over the world. At an early stage of drawing up the book revealed that from about 250 hymns translated into Russian, exactly half, so almost immediately had to sit down and dictionaries - English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and even Arab. Some hymns were very short, just 4-5 lines, some, on the contrary - verses 10-15 (this is especially the case like a South American countries); in some hymns sung love for his country, its beauty, expressed the desire to guard the country from wars, other - more aggressive call to arms, mercilessly kill their enemies, drink their blood, well, or, at least, drink their blood, their fields, sometimes even specify these enemies - specific other countries; other hymns - it is less anthems and hymns monarchs of these countries, where praise is sung to the king or shah, painted his positive qualities, in some cases briefly mentioned and the people, but usually in the context that "we, the people, without delay, let's go to die for you, our beloved king "... But what impressed most of all is the fact that even the smallest state, some tropical island with a population of a thousand - and a half thousand people sing in their hymns of their country, as "great", "ancient history" and "sacred and respected" ... Perhaps we can learn from these small states.

     PS: The collection contains hymns of all countries (including hymns unrecognized states) except Western Sahara and Somalia.

     PPS: Also requests the residents of different countries - if you suddenly noticed a grave mistake in the translation of the anthem of your country, or mistranslation that changes the meaning of the hymn, or passage - please indicate these inaccuracies, and they will be corrected.
