GENERAL PRESENTATION

"GIVE YOUR BLOOD" is an application which allows a user, via the geolocation of his device, to list the places of blood collection around him, to specify the location as well as the dates and times.

AROUND ME

The "Around me" section is only active if the GPS point relating to your position has been made. The GPS service must therefore be activated on your device.

This section allows you to know all the blood collection places around your position, whether in ambulatory mode or in fixed mode. Two filters are available: The "Date" filter which lists the places according to their date, and the "Distance" filter which lists the places according to their distance. The "Distance" filter is used by default.

For each event listed, you can find out the type of collection (icons representing blood, plasma and / or platelet), the day, the exact times and the precise address of the collection location.

Regarding fixed collection places, you can call directly by tapping the number displayed when it appears.

The mileage between your position and a collection point is given as the crow flies, the exact route can be significantly increased.

A specific "I'm going" button allows you to open a route to easily get to the designated place.

A button at the top of the Menu page allows you to relaunch the geolocation.

SEARCH BY MUNICIPALITY

The "Search by municipality" section works in the same way as "Around me", except that the reference GPS point is no longer your current geographic position but the very city center of the designated municipality. To access the list of blood collection places, you must first start entering the town, then select it from the list and finally validate.

SETTINGS

The "Parameters" section allows you on the one hand to extend or reduce the search radius (30 km by default), and on the other hand to specify the type of donation you wish to offer (blood, plasma and / or plates). For example, if you wish to donate platelets, you check the platelet box and only the collection places offering this service will be displayed.

SHARE

France needs blood, Plasma and Platelets. You can share the "GIVE VOTE BLOOD" application with your friends by clicking on the "Share" icon on the opening screen or at the top of this page. They will receive a representative image of the app, as well as text allowing them to download it themselves.
