All Imported breeds are more popular but come with high maintenance costs, with some or the other disease/ailment which manifests itself after a couple of years of their life owing to extensive irresponsible selective breeding methods and inbreeding by breeders looking to make a quick buck.

The Indian Breeds are genetically way superior to Imported breeds and are robust and healthy, living longer lives, easily adapt to different environments and are rather active requiring a good exercise plan, in turn keeping their humans fit and healthy too!
I have listed as many Indian Breeds as I could find with a summary of their personalities and I do hope that it encourages all committed dog lovers to give these beautiful Indian Breeds another chance, which maybe their last...
