How to know if I am Bipolar?

It is estimated that between 2% and 6% of the population are bipolar. According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders DSM-V, the reference diagnostic manual for psychologists and psychiatrists, up to 3'3% of the population could be bipolar.

These changes in mood can affect sleep, energy, activity level, judgment, behavior and the ability to think clearly.

Symptoms of a depressive episode

- Depressed mood, sad or anxious.
- Feeling slower or restless.
- Having trouble concentrating or making decisions.
- Having trouble falling asleep, waking up too early or sleeping too much.
- Speak very slowly, feel that you have nothing to say or forget many things.
- Lose interest in almost all activities.
- Feeling hopeless or worthless, or thinking about death or suicide.
