Introduction

This application can fulfill the requirements for testing the vibration motor of Android smartphones. There are 4 test methods in total.

Mobile phone motor check
The tutorial comes from: @ 胜利 文 咕咕
In the continuous test, adjust the vibration intensity to the highest, the vibration frequency to the lowest, and start the vibration.
Put the phone to the ear at different angles (side, front, etc.) and listen carefully. The loudest sound over there means the motor is over there.
At the same time, because different motors have different vibration modes, if you can obviously feel that the sound on the side is greater than the front and the energy sense is stronger, then it is generally an X-axis linear motor, otherwise it is a Z-axis linear motor.
Another way to judge.
After turning on the vibration as described above, touch the side of the phone slightly to the desktop. If you can hear the sound of the mobile phone knocking on the table, it is the X-axis linear motor; if there is not much response, it is the Z-axis linear motor. For the Z-axis linear motor, it needs to be laid flat to have the sound of knocking on the table.

Test method introduction

System preset

In this group of tests, the four vibration modes that have been tuned by the Android system will be used for vibration, which is the most basic vibration test. It should be noted that this group only supports Android 10 and above devices.

Program preset

Continuous testing

In this group of tests, you can specify the vibration intensity and vibration frequency for continuous testing.

Free creation

In this group of tests, you can completely customize the vibration. I have posted all the parameters that can be controlled by Google to control the vibration. You are welcome to use it. For instructions, please move to "Usage" to view.

ps: Everyone is welcome to submit your training plan to us after free creation and debugging. We will add it to the program preset in the next update.

In fact, the project had thoughts and started production as early as last year, but what was expected at the time was not a vibration test, but an attempt to play music through a vibration motor. Obviously, it failed, so there is this "buzz" test app.

But maybe this is not a delusion, because the reason why I have this idea is entirely because my Samsung s10 supports setting different vibration modes, and different modes are different melodies! This at least shows that it can be achieved in principle.

However, I thought hard for a long time, read a lot of information, looked at a lot of source code, and I couldn't find a solution. If a big guy happens to have a view on this, please come to this post to discuss with me: https://v2ex.com/t/645640
