FamilyApp™ is a free messaging app designed to bring you together! Whether you're a parent, grandparent, or kid, everyone can access this safe app using smartphone or tablet devices. It's one of the newest family apps to hit the Apple App Store and Google Play.
As you create a common space to be together you'll discover fun activities and helpful play ideas brought to you by FamilyApp™ Connect channel providers. Use our services as a family together on one app without commercial advertisers or the latest game vendors getting your private data. This way parents and kids can have more time for family fun and play and spend less time worrying about the tech. Family is better when together!
Fun. You’ll find new ways to share old memories and make new ones using your Android device or iPhone. We use a new contextual marketing solution to offer content and services relevant to your interest rather than selling profile data on ad exchanges.
Safe: What’s yours is yours. Create a safe bubble for your kids and loved ones online with your own E2E encrypted messenger that works on several devices, such as iPhone, iPad, or Android and even iPhone Touch for kids. You’ll never have to worry about uninvited guests coming into your digital home.
Together: Every family looks a little different. With a simple user interface, children and elders can be a part of the activity too. We take care of the hard stuff like parent and caregiver approval so you can enjoy staying in touch with your whole gang participating!
FamilyApp™ Features in detail:
Chats
FamilyApp™ chats are your personal hotlines for those you care about most, even a child or grandparent! FamilyApp™ differs from group text because it is optimized for messaging as a unit on the secure network, rather than as individuals. It is not just another social network with everybody on. It's much more fun (and safe!) to live out digital life this way.
Contacts
FamilyApp™ enables you to quickly locate members of your families and groups from a single app. You can customize your profile and control the information you want to be shared outside your home. It enables you to manage requests for child data so you spend less time on your iPhone or Android and more time at play with them, being the parent they need!
Families
You can join more than one family with different profiles, so in one you're “Uncle Bob”, and in the next, you’re “Dad”. You have the option to configure FamilyApp™ to meet your specific needs with fun little nudges and reminders to facilitate togetherness and child safety. Check out "whole family" message boards, private chats, and tools to manage your kids’ contacts with others.
Groups
Can't remember your kid's game time? No problem! FamilyApp™ Groups helps you organize carpools, neighborhood chats, team sports, book clubs, and troops with your kid from the same app you use with your family members. With age-appropriate content and built-in parental control, you can safely connect with other families in your community through groups whether at home or at play.
Compatible
FamilyApp™ is different from parental control apps that focus more on family apps like screen time or device monitoring and app time limits, Internet and game access control like Disney Circle, or location tracking like Life360. It's also not yet another one of those organizers, educational apps, or pesky ad-supported games you have to check out on Common Sense Media before approving. Instead, we help you leverage your technology investments to safely connect your kids in the digital world.
FamilyApp™ is fun and fully compatible with your Apple iOS or Google account so you can take advantage of cloud account features like Google Family Link app or Apple Family Sharing. It's one of the must-have, ad-free apps for Android and iPhone so you can prioritize being together and connecting your household with extended family far away and neighborhood or school families nearby.
