IoThingspeak is an application monitoring data from sensor readings that you send from an arduino device, respberry or the like to thingspeak. In addition to monitoring the data you send, IoThingspeak also has other features, such as creating, updating and deleting channels and their fields.

Channel here means that one channel has a maximum of 8 fields representing the sensors installed in your Arduino circuit.

For example you will monitor the house with several sensors such as fire sensors, temperature sensors and light sensors. In the IoThingspeak dashboard you only need to make one channel and fill in the field label 1 with the name of the fire sensor, the field label 2 with the temperature sensor name and the field label 3 with the light sensor name.
