Our beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH said:

“Surely, everything has a heart, and the heart of Quran is Yaseen. I would like that it be be in the heart of every believer of my ummah.” –Tafsir -al- Sabuni, volume:2

Reported by Ata bin Abi Riibaah, that the Prophet Muhammad PBUH stated;

“Whoever recited Surah Yaseen at the night seeking Allah’s approval, Allah would forgive him.” Ibn Hibban, Darimi 3283/A, Abu Yala, Tabarani, Baihaqi & Mardawaih.

If a person recites Surah Yasin with pure and true intentions of gratifying Allah SWT during the night, then he will wake up free of sin following morning. Subsequently, if a believer makes sure to recite Surah Yasin before going to sleep only to gain the pleasure of Allah Almighty, then he must be confident that his sins are forgiven while he is asleep.

**** Magnificent Reward
Our Prophet Muhammad PBUH states another incredible advantage of reciting Surah Yasin:

Whoever reads Surah Yaseen, Allah rewards him that is equal to that of reading the whole Quran.” –Tirmidhi 2812/A

**** Eases the Death
Eases the Death, Our dear Prophet Muhammad PBUH said:

“Recite Yaseen on those who are dying.” –Sanan Abi Dawud

It is evident from this Hadith that Surah Yasin is recommended to be recited close to the dying person. A man who is leaving this world needs spiritual help and solace to pass on to succeeding world with ease so around this time if the Heart of Quran is recited, it helps the diminishing soul and brings peace and comfort to the excruciating process.
