Abu al-Faraj Ali bin al-Hussein, Umayyad al-Qurashi al-Isfahani, whose lineage is attributed to the Umayyad dynasty (284 AH / 897 CE - 14 Dhu al-Hijjah 356 AH / November 20, 967 CE), from Arab writers, the author of the Book of Songs, and his grandfather Marwan bin Muhammad, the last successors of the Umayyad dynasty. He is Asfahani, born in Baghdad. He was among notables of her writers and classifiers, and it was narrated from many scholars
