The official and free bike tour planner for radrevier.ruhr! 1,200 kilometers of signposted network of hubs, 15 official district routes, plus many other tour ideas and the most important sights for easy tour planning by bike in the Ruhr area. Individual tour planning "from door to door" is also possible with the tour planner.

Ruhr Tourismus GmbH has developed this free tour planner for cyclists in close cooperation with the Ruhr Regional Association and the cities in the Ruhr area. Plan your next bike tour on the computer and use the on-site navigation app. With the bike tour planner to radrevier.ruhr you will always find the most bike-friendly route to your destination. As a map basis, you can choose between Open Street Map, aerial view or the official city map of the region.

Tour Planner:
Create your individual tour - whether from sight to sight, door to door or from node to node. Customize each tour to your needs and save your favorite tours in your profile so that you can cycle them later using the app. You can also easily create round trips via the nodes. At a glance you can see the distance and the elevation profile of the tour.

You will find our official RevierRouten such as "pit trip", "steel kitchen", "Haldenglück" or "countryside" here as well as many other exciting tour tips for cyclists in the Ruhr area. You can also benefit from the suggestions and experiences of other users.

Places:
See where the main sights are and how to get there by bike. Each location can be selected as a start, stopover or destination. You can also see where the public transport stops are and plan them directly. Using the departure monitor, you can even see the current next connections including delays during the tour.

The routing
There are three different routing options to guide you to your destination:

Most beautiful way
They are preferably routed through the tourist hub system. This ensures the most bike-friendly route, even if the bike tour is a little longer. There are also many sights along the way. We recommend this option for holidaymakers and recreational cyclists.

Most convenient way
You are preferably guided through the red and white signposted cycle path network. Most of the time there are bike paths available. The route can be seen as a compromise between the "most beautiful route" and the "fastest route" and accepts smaller detours in favor of bicycle friendliness. We recommend this option for everyday cyclists and partially for recreational cyclists.

Shortest way
You will be guided in the most direct way and will get to your destination quickly. The route is primarily routed through the general road network. Bicycle lanes or train paths are only chosen if they correspond to the most direct route. Therefore, a completely paved route cannot be guaranteed. This option should only be selected if the route is definitely not the destination, but only the time counts.

You can register again or log in easily via Facebook. Save your favorite tours and cycle them using the app's navigation. The on-site signage also supports you.
