This Periodic Table application shows the table and each atom in a 3d view. This application is meant to be fun to play around and to generate interest in two categories of people.

1. Students who will be diving into the Periodic table and its details during his/her science
class.
2. Adults who forget about what they studied about the Periodic table.

It has a "table view" and "explore atom view". Tap on an element to get info about that element and get into atomic view.

Explore atom shows the Bohr model of the atom. This model was proposed by Niels Bohr in 1913. It is not completely correct but has many features that are sufficient for a general understanding. In this representation, the electrons are rotating in a 2D plane, unlike the Bohr model which suggests the electrons move in a 3D path around the nucleus. The 2D representation is for simplicity.
