And for good reason, they have the enormous advantage of alerting the owner as soon as a burglar enters his property. The Nest Cam Outdoor promises, as a bonus, a good image quality announced (Full HD and night vision) as well as continuous recordings. Is the commitment kept? Is this camera easy to install? We tell you everything.
It's the installation that will actually define whether or not the Nest Cam Outdoor is for you. Indeed, unlike the Netgear Arlo Pro which incorporates batteries, the Nest Cam Outdoor must be connected to the sector to operate. Nevertheless, to make installation easier, Nest delivers a cable with a length of 7.5 meters, which in our case proved sufficient, even if it was obviously necessary to play the drill.
A first hole in the wall of the house was needed to pass the power supply. Less complicated, we then had to pierce others to fix the support of the camera.
