In the late eighties, a real sensation in the world of pop music was made by the exotic pop duo Milli Vanilli. For two months, two dark-skinned, muscular guys won the hearts of music lovers with their rhythmic melodies and incendiary dances. Their debut album, "All or Nothing," which appeared on the shelves of European stores in mid-1988, was among the best-selling pop music in history. Songs such as "Rain is to blame", "Girl, you know that it’s true", "Baby, don’t forget my number", "Girl, I miss you without you" got into the hit parades of several countries. Immediately five compositions of the duo were on the "chart" of the American edition of Billboard, and three of them took off to the very top! Only the king of pop Michael Jackson with the Thriller album could boast of such results in the eighties.
The success of the Milly Vanilli duo was joined by the venerable producer Frank Farian, the same one who stood at the origins of the Bonnie M disco group. He was one of the first to understand that with the advent of music channels, the appearance of the singers, their way of staying on stage, the ability to start the crowd will play a decisive role in the success of the ensemble.
Farian bought the most advanced video editing equipment. His digital audio studio on the outskirts of Frankfurt has become the Far Studio studio and hardware complex with a full production cycle, including the manufacture of matrices for industrial replication of discs.

In 1988, the duo made its debut on television. The clip "Girl, You Know That is True" was noted by the public and music critics. Having received the "promotion" first in Germany, and then in England, the pop duo becomes the darling of the English MTV channel. Frequent appearance on television allowed the group to take a leading position in the European "charts".
