SANREMO FESTIVAL I AM FOLLOWER aims to introduce its users to the Sanremo Festival: the participating singers, Italian and international guests, its interpreters and the artists of the most famous music festival in Italy.

The Sanremo Italian Song Festival is at its 70th edition. The Italian public television station Rai1 will broadcast the event that will take place from February 4th to 8th 2020 at the Ariston theater in Sanremo.

The singers of the 2020 Sanremo Festival of the Big category (or Champions) will be announced live on January 6, during the special evening of "The usual unknown The return" dedicated to the Italian Lottery, conducted by Amadeus. The eight young people in the New Proposals category will be discovered on December 19, 2019.

SANREMO FESTIVAL I AM FOLLOWER collects information from the web and from various social media, presents its users with the likely artists who will perform at the Sanremo Festival 2020 and, only after official confirmation, the artists are sure to participate in the Festival.

The Sanremo festival will consist of five evenings and the singers who will perform at Sanremo 2020 will be divided into two sections: CHAMPIONS and NEW PROPOSALS.

The program includes:

Day 1: Tuesday 4 February 2020: presentation of 10 songs in the CHAMPIONS section and 4 songs from the NEW PROPOSAL section.

Day 2: Wednesday 5 February 2020: presentation of the 10 other songs in the CHAMPIONS section and 4 songs in the NEW PROPOSAL section.

Day 3: Thursday 6 February 2020 Evening SANREMO 70: Interpretation by the 20 CHAMPIONS of songs published belonging to the repertoire of the history of the Festival. Artists can choose to perform together with Italian or foreign guest artists. Presentation of the last 4 songs left in competition in the NEW PROPOSAL section.

Day 4: Friday 7 February 2020: Execution of the 20 competing songs of the CHAMPIONS section and of the 2 remaining songs of the NEW PROPOSALS section. At the end of the evening the song / artist will be announced Winner of the NEW PROPOSALS section.

Day 5: Saturday 8 February 2020 Final: Execution of the 20 competing songs of the CHAMPIONS section. At the end of the evening the song / artist Winner of the CHAMPIONS section will be announced.

The various juries can express their preferences only in the evenings dedicated to them:

- the Public Opinion Jury will vote in the first two nights

- the Orchestra in the Third

- journalists in the Fourth

- in the Final Evening all the juries will vote, excluding however the Orchestra

- the public will be able to vote for all the evenings

As in last year's festival, there will be no eliminations for the Big in the competition during the evenings for this edition.
