In this post, I am going to show you how to install Serial Number Lock Screen Builder - MDM Utility on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. This app is designed for EMM and MDM use via App Config. It enables a business to configure a lock screen wallpaper that contains the device Serial Number.

The purpose of this app is for Business customers to be able to quickly identify their devices by glancing at the lock screen without having to jump through hoops to get the identifier. The Serial Number is placed onto any wallpaper or solid color background. Place the serial number anywhere, make it any size you want.

You provide a URL to an image you want to setup as the lock screen, and the location on that image to place the Serial Number, and the app does the rest.

Or choose a solid color background for the wallpaper.

Trigger this app to auto-run from the EMM/MDM and it'll setup the lock screen without the user ever knowing it was there.

The auto_quit feature is for your testing purposes. Once you have everything setup how you want it, set the app to automatically quit after it runs. This way when you push it out there is no user interaction - the app will just build the wallpaper and close itself.

Screenshots below show what the UI looks like when auto quit is on - the parameters passed to the app via the MDM are shown at the top and some logging is shown at the bottom.
